Ubisoft Barcelona Devs Strike All of July Over Mass Layoffs & RTO Policies
Developers at Ubisoft Barcelona, a key support studio behind Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege, have announced a full month-long strike throughout July 2026. The industrial action comes in direct response to mass layoffs at the studio as well as contentious return-to-office (RTO) mandates imposed by Ubisoft, marking one of the most significant labor disputes to hit the games industry in recent memory.
